What’s the next best thing to being in Scotland?
Bringing a bit of Scotland to you!

So that’s what we’re doing—and for a very good cause!

On Friday, November 2, 2018, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., York County Community Action Corporation will host its 4th Annual YCCAC Fall Ceilidh and Silent Auction at Spring Hill, in South Berwick. (Ceilidh, pronounced Kay-lee, refers to a Scottish or Irish gathering where guests join in traditional dress, music, dance, food and drink.)

Music this year will be provided by Junior Stevens & Friends—"one of the foremost exponents of the Concertina and Button Accordion in the Irish style."

Also returning, for the third consecutive year, is Sue Dunlavey and the Seacoast Set Dancers. We’re thrilled to have these skilled and experienced dancers join us, to guide us in the “traditional Irish reels, jigs, hornpipes and polkas!”

Proceeds from the event to support YCCAC programs and services that most benefit York County seniors and children.
